NEXTMODERNA

Pro svou postmoderní apropriaci ikon moderní abstraktní malby jsem překřtil postmodernu na NEXTMODERNU, abych zdůraznil, že modernu nemusíme vnímat pouze jako něco starého, přežitého až směšného, jak je u postmoderní tvorby časté.
Obrazy jsou důkazem, že i spojení lehkosti stěžejních děl moderny s absurdností současnosti může být něčím překvapivě přitahující ke smíření s vizí moderny: permanentní inovací – revolucí – nextmodernou.

For the purpose of his postmodern appropriations of modern abstract painting icons the author renamed postmodern to NEXTMODERN to emphasize the fact that the modern does not necessarily has to be viewed as something outdated, outworn or even ridiculous, as it often happens in the postmodern approach. The paintings provide evidence that connecting the icons of the modern painting with the absurdity of the contemporary life may, in the end, rather surprisingly reconcile with the vision of the modern art: permanent innovation – revolution – nextmodern.
